If you want you can already collect during the story what is available but this will lead to more backtracking. The collectibles are all outside in the open world where you can free-roam. They all get marked when unfogging the map, except Spider-Bots which are not marked.
For it to count you have to land the final hit that kills the enemy using these 4 abilities, for a total of 100 kills. Queens is the borough northeast of Manhattan where Peter Parker grew up and started his journey as Spider-Man. Not much is known yet about this district as Downtown Queens is the only revelead District in one of the game’s earlier showcases.

While Insomniac have since released a Miles Morales spin-off and announced a standalone Wolverine game, a fully-fledged sequel was only a matter of time. It’s been almost five years since the original hit the shelves, and players are desperate for any slither of information. Insomniac Games are hard at work on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the follow-up to one of the most critically acclaimed superhero games of all time.
For NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU users, DLSS Ray Reconstruction is available. This technique uses an NVIDIA supercomputer-trained AI network that generates higher-quality pixels in between sampled rays, resulting in sharper and more accurate ray-traced images. Peter takes the symbiote to Oscorp to destroy it, but a desperate Harry intercepts him and reclaims it, transforming into a monstrous creature. After slaughtering Oscorp staff trying to remove the symbiote from him, the symbiote-induced Harry escapes into Times Square, where he defeats several of Kraven’s Hunters before overpowering and killing Kraven himself. The symbiote convinces Harry to “heal the world” by infecting everyone on Earth with symbiotes, starting with New York. Dubbing themselves “Venom”, Harry and the symbiote transform Mary Jane into Scream, but Peter helps her break free after battling and reconciling with her.
These characters do add a bit more flavour to the world and its largely homogenous population of NPCs you’re clearly not intended to look at too closely. Speaking of boss battles, that’s one area that takes a noticeable step up from our initial tangos with Kingpin, Vulture, and the rest. One of my criticisms of the first in Insomniac’s series was how uninspired many of the showdowns felt, with their quicktime-heavy fights making a light impact. Improvements were made in Miles Morales, but here in the full-fledged sequel, boss battles really come to life. You’re made to wait a little too long for them sometimes, but when they do arrive they never fail to excite.
On the whole it’s a tried and true set-up for a Spider-Man story—the perils of leading a double life, making sacrifices to do the right thing, all that jazz. But that does also mean it’s a story we’ve seen an awful lot of times before, not only across films, TV, and comics, but also in the previous two games in this series. Each game in the series has a main villain that is set up early in the game, and persists to the end.
Check along this road for a tall building with a black tip, and a roof that slopes downwards towards the South. The Prowler Stash on the Braxton tower will be just to the East of it. While Spider-Man 3 hasn’t yet been confirmed by Insomniac, though there hasn’t been much news from the company lately, it would be strange for the successful series to not continue with another sequel. It’s likely that the developers are focusing on the upcoming Marvel’s Wolverine, and any new Spider-Man title will come much later. The focus on Wolverine could be another contributing factor as to why Spider-Man 2 didn’t get any new story DLC. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 made a remarkable splash in the gaming world when it launched on PlayStation 5 in 2023.
